Myanmar / Thailand: MoRAC Union Minister receives Ambassador

Union Minister for Religious Affairs and Culture U Tin Oo Lwin on Tuesday afternoon received the Ambassador of Thailand to Myanmar Mr. Mongkol Visitstump at the Ministry in Nay Pyi Taw.

This meeting focused on matters including offering the Kathina Robe for the 72nd birthday anniversary ceremony of the King of Thailand at the Aung Myay Bon Tha Shan Monastery in Yangon this year, holding the ‘T-Pop Star Challenge’ singing contest in Myanmar and donating the Buddhism books to countries across the world and cooperation on religious affairs and culture.

After the meeting, the Union Minister and the Thai Ambassador exchanged memorable gifts.
