Caring for the Elderly: Aid to Home for the Aged in Sittwe

Rakhine State Government on Tuesday provided aid to the Sittwe Home for the Aged. Chief Minister U Htein Lin attended this aid provision ceremony at the community hall of the said place and expressed his belief that the Rakhine State will regain peace and development due to wishes of the elders at this Home for the Aged.

And, vice-chairman of the Sittwe Home for the Aged made explanation about the Home for the Aged. Then, the Chief Minister and officials handed over rice, cooking oil, medicines and personal items. There, the Chief Minister also visited the dining room and kitchen. Also, the Rakhine State Government and the state Women's Affairs Federation provided cash for meals for the elders for a day.
