PM welcomes Malaysian Minister of Investment, Trade and Industry

Vietnamese Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh hailed Malaysia as a major trade and investment partner of Viet Nam in Hanoi on 8thJuly for Malaysian Minister of Investment, Trade and Industry Zafrul Abdul Aziz.

Zafrul is on a working visit to Viet Nam to co-chair the 4th session of the Viet Nam-Malaysia Joint Trade Committee. Currently, Malaysia is the third largest trading partner of Viet Nam in the ASEAN and the 10th largest in the world.

Pham Minh Chinh said that Viet Nam always welcomes and encourages Malaysian businesses and investors to operate in the country and Viet Nam commits to protecting their legitimate rights and interests, ensuring fair treatment, and creating favorable conditions for foreign investors, including those from Malaysia.
