Int’l Day of Cooperatives: Sagaing Region CM attended the celebration

The celebration of 102nd Anniversary International Day of Cooperatives was organized at Sagaing Region Government office in Monywa in the morning on 6th July and attended by Sagaing Region Chief Minister U Myat Kyaw and wife, Chief Justice of Region High Court and wife, Region Ministers and wives, Region/District/Township level officials and personnel from the Department of Cooperatives and the CEC members of Federation of Cooperative Alliance.

First, the Region Chief Minister U Myat Kyaw gave a speech of honor in commemoration of the International Day of Cooperatives. Next, the representative of the Federation of Cooperative Alliance read the message sent by the president of International Cooperatives Alliance in commemoration of 102nd Anniversary of the International Day of Cooperatives.

Then, the chief Minister and wife, Chief Justice of Region High Court and members of Region Government awarded the prizes of honor to the outstanding students who passed the 2023-2024 matriculation examination with distinctions.

Consequently, the Chief Minister and officials watched the Video Clip on the song of honoring 102nd Anniversary of International Day of Cooperatives, took the documentary photo and cordially greeted the attendees.

Next, the Chief Minister and officials viewed and encouraged the participants in the collective cleaning tasks including Region/districts/Townships Women Affairs Committees, Maternal and Child Welfare Supervising Committees, personnel from the General Administration Department, members of Myanmar Police Force and Fire Brigade, Township development Committee members, teachers, parents of the students and students who were cleaning at No. (1) Basic Education High School in Aungmingalar Ward of Monywa Township.

Then, the Chief Minister and officials looked the selling edible oil, foodstuff in fair price and vegetables in affordable price to the participants in the collective cleaning tasks and the participants enjoyed the breakfast hosted by the No (1) Basic Education High School. Similarly, the Naga Self-Administered Zone, 13 districts and 14 townships in Sagaing Region, the collective cleaning tasks were carried out simultaneously, it’s reported.
