Japan hosted an event on Uzbekistan’s tourism As part of ensuring the implementation of the tasks specified in Decree No. PF-9б Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated January 12, 2024 “On measures to sharply increase the flow of foreign tourists to the Republic and further accelerate domestic tourism”, the Embassy organized an event on the topic of “Potential of pilgrimage tourism of Uzbekistan”.

The goal is to familiarize representatives of leading Japanese tourism organizations and companies, bloggers and journalists with the conditions created for foreign tourists in our country, new hotels and tourism facilities, develop new “tourism content” of Uzbekistan and increase the flow of tourists from Japan.

This event was organized in cooperation with Japan Travel Companies Association (JATA), “Hankyu International Co. Ltd”, “All season travel Co. Ltd”, and about 50 participants took part in it.
