UEC Tree Planting: UEC Chairman joined the tree planting

The 2024 Monsoon Season Tree Planting ceremony of the Union Election Commission was held at the right-hand of UEC office and Zayya-HtaNi street-2 in Nay Pyi Taw in the afternoon on 3rd July and attended by the UEC Chairman U KoKo and Commission members, permanent secretary, Deputy Directors General, officials and staff members.

First, UEC Chairman and members planted saplings of teakwood trees at the designated places and also the permanent secretary, Deputy Directors General, officials and staff members planted the saplings of teakwood trees.

Next, the UEC Chairman and members viewed and encouraged the officials and staff members planting the trees. During the tree planting, 300 saplings of teakwood were planted and 230 teakwood trees planted last year are well living, its’ learnt.
