Human Trafficking Awareness Campaign in Lai Chau, Viet Nam

An awareness campaign on preventing and combating human trafficking took place in Lai Chau, Viet Nam on Monday.

The campaign was jointly organized by Border Guard Command and the Ministry of Public Security, the Ministry of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs aiming to inform people about the consequences of illegal entry and exit and give updates on human trafficking activities on the border routes.

During the event, locals were also educated by watching reports and sketches on the methods and tricks employed by human traffickers.
