








Hailing the Myanmar Women’s Day which falls on July 3rd, a paper reading session was held at the office of Myanmar Women’s Affairs Federation in Nay Pyi Taw Deckhinathiri Township on Saturday.
Chairman of the National Committee on Women Union Minister for Social Welfare, Relief and Resettlement Dr Soe Win made a speech, highlighting the crucial role of women, which have more than half of the country’s populations, in nation building efforts based on democracy and federal principles.
He added that the paper reading session could be an important activity, contributing to the development of the nation as it covers various sectors. The was followed by the paper reading session by the scholar persons with the topics range from women’s resilience in climate change impact, women’s role in conserving the intangible cultural heritage and mental changes in aged women.
