







Yangon Region Government has been organizing the ethnic traditional cultural exchange tour. Leader of the Central Advisory Board for the State Administration Council U Saw Tun Aung Myint, Union Minister for Ethic Affairs Jeng Phang Naw Taung, Yangon Region Chief Minister U Soe Thein and many other officials held a meeting with those who will participated in the tour at the National Races Village in Yangon.
In this meeting, Leader of the Central Advisory Board for the State Administration Council U Saw Tun Aung Myint stressed that the study tour will bring unity to the country. Continuous peace processes will bring development. He called for participation in preservation of ethnic literature, language, culture and tradition.
Also, Union Minister Jeng Phang Naw Taung highlighted opening of vocation training schools in regions and states for socio-economic development of ethnic people. Such an ethnic traditional cultural exchange tour like this brings many benefits including unity and strength for regional development and building a Union based on democracy and federalism.
This meeting also included traditional cultural stage performances. It’s concluded with presenting cash awards to those participated in the stage performances.
