Investment Commission Meeting: MIC grants new permits boosting industrial growth

Three new investment permits were granted during the Myanmar Investment Commission meeting held in Nay Pyi Taw on Friday. The meeting was chaired by Member of the State Administration Council and Deputy Prime Minister General Mya Tun Oo, along with the commission members.

The newly granted permits encompass the industrial, electricity, and mine exploration sectors. The total investment amounts to over 89 million US dollars and 27.5 billion kyats, creating 206 new employment opportunities. Additionally, capital increases have been approved for existing industries operated by foreign investments.
