Hydro and Solar Project: Tanintharyi Region CM hears feasibility study report

Tanintharyi Region Chief Minister U Myat Ko heard the feasibility study report for hydro and solar project to be carried out in Kyunsu Township.

In this event at the Regional Government office in Dawei, the Chief Minister said that there is still not enough electricity in Kyunsu Township. Now, on Ka Tan Island, saltwater shrimp farming is underway and electricity demand has increased.

The Chief Minister also pledged to provide necessary assistance for the hydro and solar project. And, experts from the New Myanmar Renewable Energy Co.,Ltd. presented the feasibility study report, ongoing work processes and plans. In his response, the Chief Minister and officials made coordination with the experts regarding the project.
