Myanmar / China: 70th Anniversary of Five Principles of Peaceful Coexistence

At the invitation of the Government of the People’s Republic of China, Former President of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar U Thein Sein left Nay Pyi Taw to attend the 70th Anniversary of the Five Principles of Peaceful Coexistence in China on 27 June by a Special Flight.

The Myanmar delegation was seen off at the Nay Pyi Taw Airport by Admiral Tin Aung San, member of the State Administration Council, Deputy Prime Minster and Union Minister for Defence, U Wunna Maung Lwin, Member of the State Administration Council, U Ko Ko Hlaing, Union Minister of the Ministry 2 at Office of Chairman of the State Administration Council, U LwinOo, Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs, Mr. Chen Hai, Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China to Myanmar and senior officials from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Former President U Thein Sein was accompanied by U Thant Kyaw, Chairman of the Myanmar Institute of Strategic and International Studies (MISIS), U Tin Oo, Chairman of the Myanmar-China Friendship Association, DawThan Than Nu, Chairperson of the U Nu-Daw Mya Yi Foundation and other officials.
