Investment in Yangon: Investments worth over 4 million USD approved

Yangon Region Investment Committee held its meeting 6/2024 in Yankin Township on Thursday with the attendance of Chief Minister U Soe Thein.

Speaking in the occasion, the Chief Minister said that the committee approved 3 local investments in hotel industry and 4 foreign investments in industrial sector with the amount of 4.845 million US dollars.

The approved industries are now producing various kinds of wearing apparel and toys with CMP system, and producing and distributing the padding and quilting. All the investments were able to create 3,060 jobs, the Chief Minister added. This meeting also made decisions on the reports by 12 companies.
