Working Group Meeting: Repatriation, reintegration & rehabilitation of trafficked victims

A Working Group on Repatriation, Reintegration and Rehabilitation of Trafficked Victims held its coordination meeting on Wednesday.

Working Group Chair Deputy Minister for Social Welfare, Relief and Resettlement DrSoe Kyi discussed the need to assess the services, being provided at the Reception Centers to meet the international standards with long term sustainability.

He also stressed the need to implement the tasks in line with the National Standard Operating Procedures for Repatriation, Reintegration and Rehabilitation of Trafficked Victims. The meeting discussed the work undertakings, suggestions, advantages and weaknesses in implementing the tasks. Fourteen decisions were made during the meeting.
