Medical Super Specialty Tour: Medical specialists given medical Services at Kawthoung

The Ministry of Health is implementing to enhance health and sports sectors inclusive of all the people to enhance the longevity and health of the entire nation and to be accessible for the necessary healthcare, the Medical Super Specialty team comprised of relevant professors and specialists are taking ground medical service tour to the regions and states.

The specialty medical team comprised of professors and specialists from North-Okkalapa People’s Hospital, Thingangyan People’s Hospital and 550-bed Children’ Hospital together with the medical specialists and health personnel from Kawthoung People’s Hospital are providing medical service to the local people at the People’s Hospital in Kawthoung Township of Taninthayi Region.

In the morning on 23rd June, the Taninthayi Region Chief Minister U MyatKo and Region Government Ministers looked round and encouraged.The Chief Minister cordially greeted the local people who are seeking the medical service at Kawthoung People’s Hospital, provided nutritious foods, looked round the providing specialty medical Services, greeted with the professors and specialty medical doctors, expressed words of thanks and fulfilled requirements.

At the ground medical tour program, the people not only from Kawthoung, but also Bokepyin Township and villages come to see the medical specialists and the medical specialist team provided medical Services including the patients with heart disease, gastrointestinal issues, Children’ heart disease, neurological ail­ments, neurological surgery and General medical problems.

The Super Specialty medical service team comprised of professor/specialty medical doctors from Yangon, Mandalay and Nay Pyi Taw has been taking super specialty tour to Taunggyi, Pyay, Thandwe, Dawei, Kengtung, Hpa-An since the early of 2024. Now, the team will provide specialty medical Services to the local people at Kawthoung People’s Hospital from 22nd to 23rd June, it’s reported.
