Water shortage adds to Delhi woes amid ongoing heatwave in India

Residents in New Delhi face water shortages as they stand in queues to fill their containers with water supplied by a municipal tanker. One of the residents said that water is essential for people and there should be a solution to the water problem. Sometimes water doesn't come at all. New Delhi, a sprawling megacity with an estimated population of more than 30 million, residents have been forced to rely on water tankers to meet demand.
