Providing Green Environ: MSWRR organizes monsoon tree planting ceremony

The Ministry of Social Welfare, Relief and Resettlement organized a monsoon tree planting ceremony at Wunna Theikdi Stadium in Zabuthiri Township on Thursday.

Union Minister Dr Soe Win and wife took part in the ceremony, planting tamarind sapling together with the high ranking officials and staff.

The Ministry has been organizing the tree planting ceremony since 2008, with the thriving of about 2500 trees, providing green environ in the office compound. For this year, 200 tamarind saplings were planted at the public area.
