Agriculture Development: Coffee cultivation, fertilizer provision and hatchery process

Bago Region Government provided the saplings of Robusta Coffee species to the coffee growers on June 18th, as an initiative to grow new crop in the region.

Chief Minister U MyoSwe Win attended the ceremony, held at the Perennial Orchard Farm near Mile Post No.36 on Yangon-Mandalay Expressway.

The Chief Minister said plans have been made to grow 1,000 acres Robusta Coffee in Bago Region during 2024-2025 cultivation season, and urged all concerned persons for the success of the target.

After the ceremony, the Chief Minister and party observed the cultivation of Robusta Coffee saplings as the mixed cropping in the orchard farm.
