Viet Nam exports mangoes to Australia and US

Vietnamese Green-skinned elephant mangoes are one of Cần Thơ City’s main agricultural products. Recently, green-skinned elephant mangoes have gained popularity in many markets.

On Tuesday morning, the locality coordinated with partners to organize a ceremony announcing the export of the first batch of this mango variety to Australia and the US. The city has oriented farmers to cultivate according to safety standards and cooperate with businesses for export. 

To meet the requirements, the entire chain must pay close attention to seed selection, care techniques, harvesting techniques, post-harvest handling, transportation, and food safety. The City currently grows mangoes on 3,400 hectares.
