Inter-RS Taekwondo competition: SAC members attended opening ceremony

The opening ceremony of 2024 Inter-Regions and States Taekwondo competition was held at Wunna Theiddi Stadium (A) in Nay Pyi Taw in the morning on 17th June.

The ceremony was attended by the SAC members Daw Dwe Bu, Porel Aung Thein, Dr. Hmu Htan, Dr. Ba Shwe, Khun San Lwin, U Shwe Kyein, U Yan Kyaw, Union Ministers, Union Auditor General, Deputy Ministers, Nay Pyi Taw Council members and departmental officials.

First, the secretary of Myanmar Olympic Committee Deputy Minister for the Sports and Youth Affairs U Htein Lin gave an opening remark and opened the 2024 Inter-Regions and States Taekwondo competition.

Next, the athletes from the Regions and States Taekwondo contestant teams vowed the four sport’s resolves.

Then, the SAC members, Deputy Minister for the Sports and Youth Affairs and officials cordially greeted the coaches, athletes and members of referee board and enjoyed the first day events of Taekwondo pattern competition of single (man/woman).

2024 Inter-Regions and States Taekwondo competition is being participated by 263 athletes from 15 teams of men and 15 teams of women from regions and states from 17th to 21st June, it’s learnt.
