Fake News: Clarification on the incident in Shwebo

Misinformation have been spreading on social media, alleging that Tatmadaw arrested three men after collecting population statistics in No.10 Ward of Shwebo Township of Sagaing Region on 14th June .

The regional security officer said Tatmadaw is carrying out the regular security duties in Shwebo Township, refuting the incident as fake news. Security forces are serving the territorial security duties in accordance with the existing laws and no illegal arrests have been made to the citizen, ensuring for community peace and law enforcement.
