Efforts for Education: Awards to outstanding students and stipend provision

Ministry of Information on Friday presented awards to offspring of officials and staff who passed the 2023-2024 academic year matriculation exam and provided stipend to students for the 2024-2025 academic year. This ceremony at the Ministry in Nay Pyi Taw began with screening a video titled "From higher education measures to national development".

In his speech, Union Minister U Maung Maung Ohn stressed that the government has established a national vision of education and is systematically implementing educational reform projects. Students must strive to be good students as they are the ones who will lead the country in the future - it is necessary not only to be fully educated but also to live with clean and pure morals. Basic education is a ladder for life. Today is the era of education and there are opportunities for those who try, the Union Minister added.

And, the Union Minister presented awards to 3 outstanding students who passed the 2023-2024 academic year matriculation exam with 5 distinctions, 4 distinctions and 3 distinctions.
