Population and Household Issues: Billboard erecting and pamphlet distribution in Dawei

Tanintharyi Region Government held the 2024 Population and Household Census Billboard Erecting Ceremony on Thursday in Dawei Township. Regional Chief Minister U Myat Ko and many other officials attended this Ceremony near the Town Hall on the Arzarni Road.

The Chief Minister and officials oversaw pamphlet distribution regarding the Population and Household Census collection. The 2024 Population and Household Census is to confirm and publish the nation’s population statistics and to forecast future population and socio-economic data more accurately.

The census will be enumerated nationwide from 1 to 15 October 2024, and the 2024 census will be conducted through four processes: preparation, enumeration, listing, analysis, and reporting.
