To attend the 1st Southeast Asian Games Federation (SEAGF) Meetings which will be held in Bangkok from 14th to 15th of June for the 33rd SEA Games, Chairman of the Myanmar Olympic Committee Union Minister for Sports and Youth Affairs U Min Thein Zan accompanied by Director General of the Sports and Physical Education Department and relevant committee members left for Bangkok via Yangon International Airport on Thursday afternoon.
They were seen off by the officials from the Ministry. It’s learnt that in the 32nd Games, a total of 445 members of the Myanmar contingent comprising 341 athletes and 104 managers and coaches participated in 19 sports events, securing 21 gold, 25 silver and 68 bronze medals.
