Myanmar Education Conference 2024: Steering Committee held its meeting in Nay Pyi Taw

The Steering Committee for organizing Myanmar Education Conference 2024 held its meeting in Nay Pyi Taw on Wednesday. Committee Chairman, Vice Chairman of the State Administration Council Deputy Prime Minister Vice Senior General Soe Win attended the meeting and made a speech.

In his speech, the Vice Senior General said the State Administration Council is making strenuous efforts for development of education sector. He urged all stakeholders to strive for successful organizing of the conference, achieving good results for development of education sector.

The meeting discussed the formation of the committees, preparation measures, and work undertakings for successful organizing of the conference. The Myanmar Education Conference 2024 will be held with the objectives of turning out patriotic youths, nurturing the qualified educated persons, development of vocation education, promoting the teachers’ quality, progress of innovation and creativity and enhancement of qualified education system.

With the theme “Promoting education for the development of human resources”, the Myanmar Education Conference will be held for the second time, with the assessment on the work plans emerged by the previous conference.

Six papers each on the basic education, higher education, vocation education, teacher training, research and innovation as well as quality ensuring will be discussed during the conference which will be held from 25th to 27th June at Myanmar International Convention Center-2 in Nay Pyi Taw. The educational goal of the government could only be achieved with the participation of all entire people.
