Acts of Terror: Terrorists arrested for plotting Thanlyin Bridge 3 attack

According to a report from a concerned resident opposed to terrorism, a terrorist group known as UG, under the NUG, has been planning to detonate 107 mm rockets at the crowded opening ceremony of the Thanlyin Bridge 3.

On the morning of 8 June 2024, in an old wooden cabin in the shipyard workers’ housing area in Ward 61 of Dagon Myothit (Seikkan) Township, Yangon, several UG members were apprehended. Authorities seized two 107 mm rockets, two fuses, two grenades, two batteries, four wire coils, and other related accessories. In total, nine individuals were arrested. The public is urged to help combat terrorists who plot acts of terror.
