Chairman of the State Administration Council Commander-In-Chief of Defence Services Senior General Min Aung Hlaing separately met with faculty members, instructors, cadets and trainees from the Defence Services Medical Academy and the Defence Services Nursing and Paramedical Academy on Monday.

In the meetings, the Senior General stressed that efforts must be made to turn out skilled medical officers who are needed by the state and the Tatmadaw. Only if the cadets and trainees follows the education and training correctly, they will be able to successfully carry out the duties.

The role of nurses in the Tatmadaw is important. Doctors have to provide treatment and nurses have to provide care.Everyone wants kindness, and people with poor health want to be treated with kindness even more. Post-graduate students who are studying advanced medical sciences need to pay attention to the subjects they are studying. It is necessary to develop the habit of reading and to cultivate good habits of self-restraint.

As there are many higher medical sciences in the field of medicine, instructors, cadets and trainees must make continuous efforts. During the visits to the Defence Services Medical Academy and the Defence Services Nursing and Paramedical Academy, the Senior General also heard reports and gave necessary instructions.

Earlier the day, the Senior General visited the Defence Services Orthopaedic Hospital and comforted the patients. There, he also made inspection of the Hospital and gave necessary instructions to upgrade the Hospital.
