News Writing Course: Kayin State Government organized 5-day course

A closing ceremony of News Writing Course No. 1/2024 was held on Sunday at the Hpa-An District Community Center.

The training Course was conducted with the aims to keep the public informed about current affairs, regional developments, public benefit activities and departmental initiatives. The training, supervised by the Kayin State Government, was jointly conducted by the Information and Public Relations Department (IPRD) and the News and Periodicals Enterprise (NPE).

Speaking on the occasion, Kayin State Chief Minister U Saw MyintOo urged all trainees to boost self-qualification, provide the best services to the public and strive for the best to learn the news writing. After that, the Chief Minister, Chief Justice of the State High Court, and the State Social Affairs Minister presented honorary awards to the first, second and third prize-winning teams.

They also awarded honorary gifts to the trainers and certificates to the trainees. The closing ceremony was attended by 50 trainees from various departments within the State. The course, held from June 4th to 8th, was conducted by the patron of the State Photography Association and the Chief Editor of the MyanmaAlin Dailies, covering both theoretical and practical aspects of photography and news writing.
