Netanyahu praises forces for Gaza hostage rescue

On 8th June, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu praised the Israeli Defence Forces for their “remarkable” rescue operation of four hostages held by Hamas.

Speaking at a press briefing at Shiba Medical Centre where the hostages are being treated, Netanyahu highlighted the “ingenuity and courage” displayed by the soldiers and emphasized Israel’s commitment to securing the release of all hostages.
