China’s DJI Completes Historic Drone Delivery on Mount Everest

In collaboration with Nepalese Airlift, 8KRAW, and local guides, China’s DJI successfully conducted the world's first drone delivery on Mount Everest in April.

Using the FlyCart 30, which can carry up to 33 pounds (15 kg), the drone transported supplies from Everest Base Camp to Camp 1, navigating the hazardous Khumbu Icefall. This test demonstrates the potential for drones to enhance mountaineering logistics and safety on Everest.
