Monsoon Tree Planting Ceremonies: Over 3,900 saplings planted in Mandalay

Efforts have been accelerating for participation of public in forest conservation tasks while raising awareness for environmental conservation across Myanmar.

On Saturday, Mandalay Region Government organized a monsoon tree planting ceremony at Chanmyathazi and Pyigyitagun Townships. Chief Minister U Myo Aung took part in the ceremonies together with officials. Over 3,900 saplings were planted during the ceremonies. It is targeted to plant 20,000 saplings during 2024 monsoon tree planting season.
