






State Administration Council held its meeting on Friday, with an address by Council Chairman Prime Minister Senior General Min Aung Hlaing.
The Prime Minister said efforts are being made for stability of the state and development by laying down 5-point Road Map. He urged the council members to check, recheck and counter check for success of the tasks in each sector while implementing the future process phase by phase.
For the stability of the state, Tatmadaw and Myanmar Police Force are carrying the security measures all across the country. The increased allowance have been granted for those service personnel as they sacrifice their lives perpectuation of the souverignty.
Likewise, assistance have been provided for members of Myanmar Fire Services. He added that plans are underway to provide more assistance to the civil servants. For the economic development, the Prime Minister emphasized the need to strive for boosting production base on agriculture and livestock sector.
He also stressed the need to have strong and stable financial market to counter the instigation for decline of country’s economy. For the implementation of Nationwide Ceasefire Agreement (NCA), he pointed out the violation of NCA agreement by some Signatory EAOs.
For the interest of the union, no attack has been launched to their military stations apart from defensive counter action. He outlined the plans to hold dialogues with the political parties and NCA Signatory EAOs in the near future.
The Prime Minister also highlighted the efforts for the emergence of genuine multi-party democracy system and building a union based on democracy and federal system. For implementing the fifth point which is holding the free and fair multi-party democracy general election, preparations are being made to turn out accurate voter lists throuhg nationwide census collection.
The Prime Minister called for collaboration of all council members for the success of the future road maps. The attendees reported on the work undertakings on political, social and economic matters, as well as taking action to those instigated the gold and currncy market, opening of schools and enrollment, the seizure of arms and drugs. The meeting also discussed disaster preparation measures, achieving agricultural targeted yields and poviding inputs.
