Inspection of Schools: MoE Union Minister inspected schools in Pyin Oo Lwin

Union Minister for Education Dr. Nyunt Pe together with the officials inspected Basic Education schools and Private Schools in Pyin Oo Lwin Township and encouraged the students who are studying peacefully in the morning on Wednesday.

The Union Minister visited Basic Education High School No (5) and No (3), Sub Basic Education High School (middle school -1) and Sar Pan Ein Private School, cordially greeted the students and teachers and gave the words of encouragement to the students.

Next, the Union Minister inspected class rooms, school buildings, learning and teaching activities, school libraries, implementations for the good look in the school compound and cleaning and greening tasks and status of completion of new school building.

After that, the Union Minister met with the District and Township education officers and principals at the school hall of No (1) Basic Education High School in Pyin Oo Lwin and discussed the requirements for the development of the education sector in the country.

Then, the Union Minister fulfilled and coordinated requirements upon the reports of the principals. For 2024-2025 academic year, a total of 679,263 students enrolled at the basic education schools, private schools and monastic education schools from 23rd of May to 5th of June and the enrolment of remaining students is being takin place at the relevant schools, it’s learnt.
