Inspection of schools: MOE UM inspected the opening of schools

Union Minister for Education Dr.Nyunt Pe and  concerned officials inspected the opening of Basic Education Schools for 2024-2025 academic year in Mandalay, ensuring the peaceful learning environment for the students on Tuesday morning.

Upon the arrival at No.(30), (27) and No.(5) basic education schools in ChanAye TharZan township, the Union Minister cordially greeted with teachers, students, and gave encourgement words. During the inspection, Union Minister urged students to try hard in learning at thier age to achieve their goals and good purposes, read the books and acquire the knowledge in libraries.

He said education is an essential requirement for individuals and the development of the country must be carried out with quality knowledge and professionals. Then, Union Minister toured around the shcool canteen, cleanlines of school campus and fullfilled the requirements.

After that, Union Minister cordially greeted Rector, pro-rectors, and heads of departments of Yadanpon University. During the meeting, Union Minister urged teachers to teach students with full dedication, focus on the development of research activities and their subjects.

He said the Ministry is being provided the necessary books for the library every year, Internet WIFI in Universities compound, and necessary research equipment items, and fulfilled the necessary requirements. In the evening, Union Minister inspected the campus and evening meals at Mandalay Education Degree collges.

During the inspection he said that the Prime Minister has given permission to increase the meals cost of colleges students, and give neccessary instructions and fullfilled the requirements. For 2024-2025 academic year, over 660,0000 students enrolled at the  basic education schools, private schools and monastic education schools in various regions and states, and continuing the enrolling activities.
