In rural Ivory Coast children of a philharmonic orchestra dream big

In Odienne, a small town north of Ivory Coast, a philharmonic orchestra, the first of its kind in the country, has been formed with over a hundred children.

Many of these rural musicians had never seen an instrument before joining. Now, these budding artists, like 9-year-old violinist Leila, are daring to dream big, with aspirations of becoming professional musicians, crediting the orchestra for changing their lives.
