Renovation Works: MORAC Union Minister visits Kanbawzathadi Palace

Union Minister for Religious Affairs and Culture U Tin Oo Lwin visited Kanbawzathadi Palace in Bago on Saturday. Officials reported on renovation works of Royal Audience Hall being undertaken by the Department of Archaeology and National Museum.

The Union Minister instructed for systematic implementation of the renovation works for long term durability. They then inspected the restoration of ancient remains of the Royal Audience Hall as well as the replicas of ancient Kings and thier utensils.

The Union Minister and party later inspected excavation site at the eastern wall of ancient Hanthawady City, and gave instruction for long term durability.
