Agriculture Sector: Dy Minister makes inspections in Myittha and Kyaukse

Deputy Minister for Agriculture, Livestock and Irrigation U Bo Bo Kyaw and officials made inspections in the areas of Myittha and Kyaukse townships.

There, the Deputy Minister inspected sesame plantation and stressed that it is necessary to provide knowledge and technology to expand the plantation and to achieve the target yield. And, he held a meeting at the Myanma Agricultural Machinery Factory in Kyaukse Township and urged concerned officials to ensure accuracy of crop acreage and yield statistical data, to select correct zones to achieve target yield of oil crops and to help growers use pure strain regarding the cotton crop.

There, the Deputy Minister also inspected grain dryers and farm equipment produced by the Factory and stressed the importance of research and cooperation.
