Sport Sector: State/Region Sepak Takraw Competition & awarding event

Members of the State Administration Council Daw Dwe Bu, Porel Aung Thein, Mahn Nyein Maung, Dr. Hmu Htan, Dr. Ba Shwe, Khun San Lwin, U Shwe Kyein and U Yan Kyaw as well as union ministers and many other officials enjoyed the 2024 State/Region Sepak Takraw Competition final matches and awarding ceremony.

The women Sepak Takraw Competition final match was between the Mon State Team and the Rakhine State Team and the men match was between the Nay Pyi Taw Team and the Mandalay Region Team. 

And, the SAC members presented awards to the Bago Region Team, Yangon Region Team, Rakhine State Team, Mandalay Region Team, Sagaing Region Team, Shan State Team, Mon State Team, Kachin State Team, Magway Region Team, Nay Pyi Taw Team.

The 2024 State/Region Sepak Takraw Competition trophies went to the Mandalay Region Men Team and the Rakhine State Women Team. The 2024 State/Region Sepak Takraw Competition participated by 28 teams was held from the 23rd to the 31st of May to raise the standard of Myanmar Sepak Takraw sport and to turn out a new generation of athletes.
