Resettlement Meeting: Discussion for temporary IDPs and closure of camps

Chin State Government held a meeting on resettlement of temporary IDPs and closure of temporary shelters.

In this meeting at the Chin State Government office in Hakha, Chairman of the committee for resettlement of temporary IDPs and closure of temporary sheltersChief Minister Dr. Wong Hsun Htan stressed that due to the suspension of the administration mechanism in Paletwa and Tedim districts, residents have started to move to Hakha and other townships since January and May.

Funds must be used to benefit the temporary IDPs, and it is necessary to collect the information of the temporary IDPsin a systematic and complete manner, the Chief Minister added. The meeting continued with discussions on works regarding the temporary IDPs and closure of the temporary shelters.
