Disaster Management: Shan State Committee holds meeting 1/2024

Shan State Disaster Management Committee held the meeting 1/2024 on Thursday at the State Government office in Taunggyi.

In the meeting, calling for cooperation, Chairman of the Committee Chief Minister U Aung Aung stressed the importance of bracing before disasters, response measures and rehabilitation tasks in accordance with the disaster management plans drawn up from the state level to the district and township level.

And, discussions were made on establishment of the State Disaster Management Committee and the Work Committee and status of natural disaster mitigation activities. Then, the Chief Minister coordinated the discussions.
