Inspection Tour: Union Minister makes inspections in Sagaing & Mandalay

Union Minister for Border Affairs Lt-Gen Tun Tun Naung made inspections in Sagaing Region and Mandalay Region.

On the 28th of May, the Union Minister inspected the University for Development of National Races of the Union in Ywarthitgyi Village of Sagaing Region.

During the inspection, he met with faculty members, heard report on administration and curriculum and made coordination. And, the Union Minister also stressed that in carrying out human resource development activities, good citizens who have a strong sense of union and patriotism need to be turned out. Also, he highlighted preparations for the Myanmar Education Conference 2024.

And, the Union Minister inspected buildings of the University and gave necessary instructions for sports ground upgrade before visiting the livestock feed factory and a convenience store. The Union Minister also inspected the agriculture and livestock zone and gave instructions for the fiscal year of 2024-2025.

The Union Minister continued his inspection trip to the Nationalities Youth Resource Development Degree College (Sagaing), held talks with faculty members and fulfilled the requirements. And, he made inspections in the College compound.

On the 29th of May, the Union Minister inspected completion of a street construction in KanSwel Village-tract in Myitha Township. He also inspected construction works in the precinct of SwelTawMyat Pagoda in the area and offered offertories to members of the Sangha. Also, the Union Minister inspected artesian well digging work in KyaungYwa Village of Meikhtila Township and held talks with locals.
