Work coordination meeting: Shan State Youth Affairs Committee held a meeting

The work coordination meeting (1/2024) of Shan State Youth Affairs Committee was held at the meeting hall of the Shan State Government in Taunggyi Township in the morning on May 23rd.

In his remark, Chairman of Shan State Youth Affairs Committee Chief Minister U Aung Aung said that as those are the work guidelines to carry out the development of youth affairs sector, the departments included in the committee need to address in undertaking the tasks, although the separate Department of Youth Affairs could not have been established, as the State/District/Township Youth Affairs Committees have been formed and assigned the duties, the relevant responsible officials needed to implement the assigned duties as well as to submit the monthly report.

Next, the Vice Chairman of Shan State Youth Affairs Committee State Minister for Social Affairs clarified the completion of work implementations on the decisions made by Myanmar Youth Affairs Central Committee in its meeting (1/2024) and the decisions of Shan State Youth Affairs Committee meeting (3/2023) and the committee members explained the status of implementation for the all-round development of the youth in the relevant sectors.

After supplementing necessary matters by the Vice Chairman of Shan State Youth Affairs Committee, the attendees discussed the General matters and the Chief Minister made a supplemented discussion and gave a speech of conclusion.
