Biden meets with Kenyan President Ruto & business leaders at White House

US President Joe Biden and Kenyan President William Ruto take part in an event with CEOs and business leaders as Biden welcomed his Kenyan counterpart at the White House, the first state visit to Washington by an African leader in more than 15 years as the US president seeks to counter geopolitical headwinds across the continent. 

Joe Biden, President of the United States said "We're launching a new era of technological cooperation between Kenya and America including new exchanges and investments in key fields of cyber security, artificial intelligence, and semiconductors. Jake Sullivan, Biden's national security advisor, said the visit highlights the important role in global peace and security by Kenya.
