At least one dead and 22 injured in gas station explosion in Peru

At least one person died and 22 were injured after a deflagration at a gas station in Lima, Peru's Ministry of Health reported on Tuesday.

According to the police, the incident may have been caused by the explosion of a gas tanker.  Minister of Health, César Vásquez, has indicated that he has activated all emergency protocols and that the seriously injured have been transferred to hospitals that have specialized care for burns.
