Basic Literacy Campaign: Tanintharyi Region CM addresses honouring ceremony

Tanintharyi Region Chief Minister U Myat Ko on Monday addressed a ceremony to honour the successful completion of the 2024 Basic Literacy Campaign.

During the ceremony in Dawei Township, the Chief Minister expressed words of congratulations for the successful completion of the campaign and called for efforts for more campaigns on a yearly basis for the remaining illiterate. And, the Chief Minister and officials presented certificates of honour and completion to the participants in the 2024 Basic Literacy Campaign.

It’s learnt that the campaign covered 3,600 persons with 240 teachers and 24 supervisors from the 6th of April to the 15th of May.
