US national security advisor meets Israeli officials in Jerusalem

US National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan met with Israel's Prime Minister Netanyahu, Israeli President and the National Security Advisor during a visit to Jerusalem amid the ongoing war between Israel and the Palestinian Islamist movement Hamas.

In Israel, Mr. Sullivan was briefed on Israeli military operations in Gaza, and the two sides discussed methods to ensure the defeat of Hamas while minimizing harm to civilians.
