Work Undertakings: Literacy Campaign and Interfaith Friendship

A ceremony to honour coaches and supervisors who activity participated in Mon State basic literacy campaign 2024, conducted for locals and ethnic people was held at the hall of Mawlamyine Education Degree College on Thursday with the presence of the Chief Minister U Aung Kyi Thein.

Speaking on the occasion, the Chief Minister said the basic literacy campaign will be continuously implemented to increase the number of literate while expressing thanks to all who supported for the campaing.  After hearing reports on literacy tasks and school outdoor activities, the Chief Minister enjoyed educational video.

And, honourary certificates were presented to the officials and provided cash assistance to coaches and supervisors. Then, the meeting of Mon State Government and Interfaith Friendship Organization (Central) took place at Mon State Government Office.

During the meeting, Chairman of Interfaith Friendship Organization (Central) made explanations on working processes of organization. Upon the reports, the Chief Minister coordinated the requirements saying the government will provide supports for convenience of working processes.
