Inspection Tour: Fish breeding farm in Yangon inspected

Deputy Minister for Agriculture, Livestock and Irrigation Dr Aung Gyi visited Lay Daunt Kan Fish Breeding Camp in Dagon Myothit East Township in Yangon Region on Wednesday.

They inspected Fish farming technology services, and distribution of fingerlings and provided necessary instructions on exceeding targeted yield, development of private fish breeding camps and acceleration of GAqP system.

It’s reported that Lay Daunt Kan Fish Breeding Camp is actively working on providing fingerlings within Yangon Region, farming and distribution of local and abroad new fish species, spreading knowledge about fish farming technology to fish breeders as per fiscal year.

Likewise, the Deputy Minister and officials visited the Kyauk Tan shrimp breeding camp in Kyauk Tan Township, inspected shirmp farming and urged to exceed targeted yield of the camp and to conduct shrimp farming technology training for the shrimp breeders.

On arrival at Thilawa Comprehensive Agricultural and Livestock breeding farm, the Deputy Minister heard reports on current work implementation and tasks to be carried out and supplemented the reports. They also inspected Han Yoma Nutrition in Thilawa Industrial Zone and coordinated necessities.
