Sport Sector: U-21 Football Tournament in Nay Pyi Taw

Chairman of the Nay Pyi Taw Council U Than Tun Oo attended the opening of the U-21 football tournament on Tuesday afternoon at the Paunglaung Stadium in Pyinmana Township.

In his speech, the Nay Pyi Taw Council Chairman said that to improve the level of Myanmar football sports and to stand successfully in Southeast Asia and the Asian region is the desire of all people in Myanmar.

All the athletes participating in this tournament must compete with full sportsmanship. As referees, they need to act in a fair manner in accordance with the rules, he added.

And, the Nay Pyi Taw Council Chairman enjoyed the match of the Dekhinathiri Township team and Zabuthiri Team. It’s reported that 21 teams from 8 townships are participating in this U-21 football tournament till the 23rd of May.
