





The ceremony of awarding prizes of passing the examinations of 38 blessings and the Great Chronical of Buddhas organized by the Mon State Young Men Buddhist Association (YMBA) was held at the State hall in Mawlamyaing Township in the afternoon on 12 th of May and was attended by the Mon State Chief Minister U Aung Kyi Thein, State Ministers, departmental officials, responsible persons from Mon State YMBA, training instructors and the trainees and invited guests.
At the ceremony, Mon State Chief minister gave an opening remark regarding with the religious affairs and culture.
Next, the Mon State Education Officer clarified the providing assistance of the education departments in teaching the 38-blessings and the Great Chronical of Buddhas and the responsible persons of Mon State YMBA explained regarding with the implementations for the religious affairs and education and expressed words of thanks for the well-wishers.
Then, the Chief Ministers and State Ministers enjoyed the entertainment programs performed by the national level gold medal prize winners and awarded the first, second and third prizes (Senior, middle and junior levels).
Next, the Mon State YMBA cultural training of 38-blessings Chief instructor presented training completion certificates to the trainees, YMBA responsible persons presented certificate of honor to the well-wishers and the ceremony was concluded after singing the song of honoring 38-blessings and song of Zartiman by the trainees.
The Mon State Chief minister and party attended a ceremony of offering certificate of honor to the Mon State Ramana Dhammacariya association by the Ministry of Religious Affairs and Culture was held at Sasana 2500 monastery in Mawlamyaing Township in the morning on 13th May. After offering the certificate of honor to the to the Mon State Ramana Dhammacariya association by the Ministry of Religious Affairs and Culture, offered the offertories and shared the merits gained.
